Delete your Facebook or Instagram data
If you've messaged or commented on Bizfloo on Facebook or Instagram, you can ask us to delete the information we saved. Pick whichever way is easiest:
1. Message us.
Send "delete my data" to Bizfloo on Messenger or Instagram, from the same account you used to contact us. That's how we find your records.
2. Email us.
Email info@bizfloo.comwith the subject "Delete my data". Include the name on your Facebook or Instagram account and the name of your business, if you gave us one, so we can find your records.
3. Remove our app in your settings.
If you connected Bizfloo to your Facebook or Instagram account, you can remove it:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites > Bizfloo > Remove.
- Instagram: Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites > Bizfloo > Remove.
Removing the app stops Bizfloo from receiving new information from your account. To delete what we already saved, also send us a message or an email (option 1 or 2).
What we delete
- Your name and the Meta user ID we have for you
- Your messages and comments we saved
- Links to your photos, files and other attachments
- Business details you shared with us in the chat
- Any website request you sent us that's linked to your chat, and the link between them
How long it takes
We delete your data within 30 days of your request. We'll reply on the same channel you used (Messenger, Instagram or email) to confirm it's done.
What we may keep
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, payment records and tax records. Square, not Bizfloo, holds your card details.
- A short note that you asked for deletion and when we did it, so we can show we followed your request.
- Messages still stored in your own Facebook or Instagram inbox. Those are held by Meta. You can delete them in the app.
If you're a Bizfloo customer with an active project, deleting your data may mean we can't keep working on your website. We'll tell you before we delete anything we need to finish the job.
