Wren & The Low Hours is a five-piece Southern soul outfit out of East Nashville, led by singer-songwriter Wren Ellison. Their second record, Porchlight, is out now.

Wren & The Low Hours formed in 2021 when singer-songwriter Wren Ellison started booking open mics with a bass player she'd met at a laundromat. Five years, one self-recorded debut, and two hundred-plus shows later, the band has become one of East Nashville's steadiest touring acts — a five-piece built on tight harmonies, a horn-less soul-revue rhythm section, and songs that read like postcards from the road. Their 2023 debut, The Low Hours, was recorded in a rented duplex over one winter and built a following the old way: word of mouth, opening slots, and a merch table where Wren stays until the last person leaves. Porchlight, their sophomore record, was cut over eleven days at Diamond Street Studio in Nashville with producer Marcus Webb, and trades the debut's urgency for something warmer — ten songs about what home means to a band that's rarely in one. The band tours behind Porchlight through the fall, and books private and corporate events year-round through manager Jordan Fitch.

- Stage: 20 ft × 16 ft minimum for the full five-piece; 12 ft × 10 ft for the acoustic trio.
- FOH: 16-channel digital or analog console with at least 3 monitor sends.
- Power: two dedicated 20A circuits at the backline, one at FOH.
- Load-in: minimum 3 hours before doors for the full band; 90 minutes for the trio.
- Backline we travel with: guitar and bass amps, drum kit, all mics and stands per the channel list.
- Backline we ask the venue to provide: a drum riser (8 ft × 8 ft) where the stage allows it.
