Catering · Upscale Southern

An upscale southern catering site that turns menu browsing into booked events

Multi-page menu showcase, an interactive quote request builder, a full photo gallery of past events, and a booking system — built to convert visitors who are already on the buying side of the decision.

The problem

Catering buyers don't pick on price — they pick on confidence. Photos of past events, a serious-looking menu, and a way to request a real quote without playing email tag are the bar. Most catering sites stop at a phone number and a PDF menu.

  • PDF menus die on mobile and don't get indexed in Google
  • Generic contact forms don't pre-qualify event size, date, or service style
  • Without a real gallery, every visitor has to take the chef's word for it
  • Bookings vanish in email threads instead of being tracked
// what we built

What we built

Interactive quote request builder

A guided quote form that captures event date, headcount, service style, and dietary notes — so the chef walks into the call already knowing the basics. No 'tell me about your event' opener.

Multi-page menu showcase

The menu is broken into real pages — entrees, sides, specialty dishes — each indexable in Google and each readable on a phone. No PDFs.

Event photo gallery

A curated gallery of past events does the trust-building before the chef even gets the call.

Specialty dishes spotlight

Featured dishes get their own treatment so the site sells what the chef is best known for, not just a flat list.

Contact + booking system

Booking requests come in structured, with timestamps and event details, so nothing gets lost in an inbox.

Tech under the hood

A premium-feeling marketing site with the depth needed to convert serious catering buyers.

Next.js + React
Fast menu pages Google can read, premium animations Google can ignore.
TypeScript
Reliable form + quote logic.
Framer Motion
Premium feel — smooth transitions on photos and menu sections.
Tailwind CSS
Mobile-first responsive design — half of catering traffic is from a phone.

The outcome

I'm A Servant First operates as a real upscale catering brand online — not a brochure site.

  • Capture pre-qualified quote requests instead of cold contact-form blasts
  • Show the full menu in a way that ranks in Google and reads on a phone
  • Build buyer confidence with a real photo gallery, not a 'gallery coming soon'
  • Track booking requests in one structured place
